Lahmacun(Lahmajoun): consisting of a round, thin piece of dough topped with minced meat (most commonly beef and lamb).
Lahmacun is often served sprinkled with lemon juice and wrapped around vegetables- including pickles, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, and parsley or cilantro.
Humus: The Turkish appetizers are known as meze which is a selection of cold and hot dishes served in small dishes. Traditionally the chosen dishes are placed in the centre of the table and everyone helps themselves from the selection. This is a very sociable and friendly environment in which to entertain friends, family or guests.

Fortune Telling:The grounds left after drinking Turkish coffee can also be used for fortune-telling. The cup is commonly turned over into the saucer to cool, and then the patterns of the coffee grounds can be used for a kind of fortune telling called (Turkish: kahve falı. |

The culture of Turkey combines a largely diverse and heterogeneous set of elements that are derived from the Ottoman, European and Middle Eastern traditions.
